WUAVF Hellas is the Hellenic Chapter of WORLD UAV FEDERATION which was established in June 2018. Operating in Athens, Greece as a non-profit and non-governmental organization serves as the UAVs industry official hub and international networking platform, with the mandate to foster growth and facilitate further development of Unmanned Systems in the area of geographic reach. As the first Chapter of WUAVF in Europe, the Hellenic Chapter focuses on the promotion of Unmanned Systems by facilitating the exchange of information regarding concerned technologies, regulations and policies, best practices, training options and much more between industry manufacturers, government authorities, Universities, R & D centers, national ministries, and EU agencies.

John Dagklis is a certified security professional, trainer and risk management consultant with  24 + years of combined experience from the Army Special Forces and the private sector. He is currently the Managing Director of JDAS  which is a security firm that provides protective services and risk avoidance solutions to C-level corporate executives, high net-worth individuals and delegations traveling to Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Having built a reputation as a subject matter expert, he has successfully managed various personal protection programs, participating also in major industry events in China and Europe as a keynote speaker. In 2011, he received one of the highest Security instructor’s certifications worldwide from the National Bodyguard Association of Russia according to Executive Protection Global Standard(EPGS). He also shares his experience globally,  through a number of specialized courses & workshops with students that wish to build a career within the demanding 21stcentury security industry. Being dedicated to the mission and vision of the World UAV Federation he is working intensely to support the local drone industry and grow the spectrum of activities of the Hellenic Chapter.
