Mr. Yang Jincai, Chairman of the World UAV Federation, recently met with Mr. Fahad Al Qahtani, director of the organizing committee of the Saudi UAV Exhibition. The meeting aimed to strengthen international cooperation and exchanges in the UAV field and explore new opportunities for future development. During the meeting, Chairman Yang emphasized the commitment of the World UAV Federation to promote the development and cooperation of the global UAV industry and expressed great anticipation for the participation in the Arabia AI and Drone Exhibition and Forum（SAADEF）. Today, Euan YAO, the Head of the International Department at the World Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Federation (WUAVF), along with John Dagklis, the President of the Greek Chapter, and accompanied by Mr. Fotis Amaxopoulos, the CEO of OVERDRONE, visited the International Metropolitan School (IMS) of Athens. Mrs. Elena Demertzi, Head of IMS and PYP Coordinator, gave the delegates an overview of a drone educational program, DRONEMANIACS. DRONEMANIACS was launched in Greece by CEO Mr. Fotis Amaxopoulos, and the intellectual property is owned by OVERDRONE, a WUAVF Greece Chapter Member. The primary purpose of this visit was to observe the application of drone systems in youth education and to reach a consensus on cooperation concerning the Global International Schools Unmanned Systems Education Exchange Center. During the visit, the delegation toured the school’s drone operation courses and engaged in in-depth discussions with teachers and students about the potential applications of drone technology in future education.
