Ben Trollope
Chief Executive Officer
The Ripper Group Pty. Ltd.
Ben is the Chief Executive Officer of The Ripper Group, responsible for the oversight of all 14 subsidiary companies under the Ripper Group Banner. The Ripper Group is front-paged by the world-renowned Westpac Little Ripper Rescue drones, responsible for the world’s first Marine rescue by drone in January 2018. The program was also prevalent in Bushfire response and recovery of Wildlife post the devastating 2019/2020 bushfire season, and more recently the sanitisation of public areas during COVID-19.
Ben also holds the positions of Deputy Chief Remote Pilot for The Ripper Group.
For over 10 years he has been actively involved in manned and unmanned aviation operations for Search and Rescue, disaster and emergency response and EMS. As a senior NVG and winch operator qualified Helicopter Rescue and EMS aircrewman, he holds a Certificate IV in Aviation (Aircrewman) with over 2,200 operational flight hours and has undertaken numerous emergency missions saving many lives.
