Mr. Rob Thompson holds a Master of Science from James Madison University for his work in aviation system designs and technical & scientific writing.

Rob is also the founder of Falcon Foundation UAS L.L.C. who provides leading advocacy efforts in the unmanned aircraft systems industry, managing government relations, committees of the association, executing legislative and regulatory strategies and creating law through the corresponding legislative committees.

Rob’s past projects for research and innovation include C-UAS, flight instrument haptic sensing, infrared runway traffic signals, the pilot selection process, positive attributes of pilots, application development, UAV
development, advanced display systems, robotics, wearables, 3D printing, advanced manufacturing, data collection and sensors.

Rob also has flight experience in 80 different models of aircraft and flown professionally as an ISR pilot, skydive operations, general aviation transport, and aerial image operations.
